Made one of the worse decisions today. Tried to slip out and do some fishing and beat a incoming Nor'easter. The ride out was a little bumpy, but the fish seem to like it when the ocean has a little chop on top of it. Well, the fishing was slow. Only 2 dolphin and an increase of wind all day. By 1:30pm, the ocean was a rockin'. Decided we better start the journey home. The ocean built and built fast. Seas were a solid 4' with a occasional six footer. Slow ride home. Only were able to make about 16knts. and took 3 1/2 hours to get home. Lesson learned today. Do not try to beat a incoming Nor'easter...
