We got away late this AM, after getting the boat we realized we had a slight steer leak and we had to head back to the house to get extra fluid in case we had to add some off shore.  We had a good crew today, with Brian, Les and Dad joining us.  Bait was thick at our usual spot and we had a livewell full in a hour.

We hit our bottom spots, but the fish were tougher this week.  We had a hard time getting a consistent bite, part of the problem was the strong current making it hard to keep the boat on the spot and baits down.  We ended the day with 5 snapper and a grouper, releasing lots of small snapper and grouper.  Every one on the boat got freight trained a few times. We will be back out ther after the 4th of July Holiday, hoping to fill another box.
