Report:

Chris's In-Laws were in from IL this week and we had been wanting to get them offshore for a long time.  We are not great bottom fishermen, but figured the fish were here and in close so lets give it a shot.  We cleared the Jetties at 7:30 headed for bait at BB, we only found scattered and very small baits.  Thankfully, we had squid and cigar minnows on board.  We fished a few places about 18-20 miles off shore and caught 1,000,000,000,000 snapper that were 1 inch to short to be legal.  Never seen so many twin 19 inch fish.  Chris did eventually pull in a legal 21 Inch Snapper.

We ended the day at a spot within site of land that we had found a few months ago.  The ledges were huge and lit up like Xmas Trees.  Craig put a 30 inch Gag in the boat, more 19" snapper, and a dozen super fat Sea Bass.

All in all a fun day.  Our main goal was to get our friends on some fish and they all caught more than they could stand.
