Report:

We cleared the rocks just after 6 AM.  We were concerned about the sea conditons when we left due to previous days report of 8-10' seas at the stream. We were meet with a 2-3 foot chop that had an occasional 4' roller thrown in. It was just rough enough to keep our speed down to 30 Knots.  Once we got in a 145' of water we set out our spread.  We had 2 strikes by 10 AM and ended the day with 3 Dolphin and a Wahoo.  We lost one nice wahoo that bit hard but ended up tangling in two more lines.

By 3 PM the ocean laid down flat and we came in at 39 knots. Just in time for Barb to meet the crew at Craigs and fix fresh Fish Taco's.

I've done a great deal of salt water fishing in the northwest. Puget Sound, the Straights and the Pacific Ocean. Seeing this PIC reminds me of better days gone by. We caught mostly salmon on my trips. As a youngster, Zach's age, I did some fishing in Gtmo Bay. Caught Tarpon, Bonefish, Skip jack, Amber jack and sharks. I miss the warm water fishing too. Zach's Uncle Tom in Surprise, Arizona. PS Nice boat guys. Looks like lots of fishin' room.  Posted by: Uncle Tom
